“See You Again” is a song by US rapper Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth, published in 2015. The song is the final soundtrack of the movie “Fast & Furious 7”.

Fast & Furious 7 was published in 2015 and is the penultimate of a series of action movies produced in USA, in which the most important elements are racing cars.

The author of the song, Cameron Jibril Thomaz (stage name Wiz Khalifa), was born on 8 September 1987 in Minot (North Dakota) and he is specialized in pop/rap songs.

The song holds the record for the highest rating, exceeding three billions views. It received some awards as the best song in 2015 at the “Hollywood Film Festival” and in 2016 at the “Golden Globe”.

It was written as a tribute to the actor Paul Walker, who died in a car accident in November 2013.

The song is played in the final scene of the film, in which the protagonists Brian (Paul Walker) and Toretto (Vin Diesel) run on two different streets on their own cars representing Brian’s farewell.

The lyrics of the song is about the death of a dear friend, and it gives strength to face the problems of life, giving hope to meet again ...

We have chosen this phrase, taken from the lyrics of the song, because it makes us realize that we need to give importance to close people because they could leave us at any time.

We are good friends and last summer we went to the sea in Sardegna together.
Every day we went to the beach and we used to listen to this song.

The challenge

About three years ago there was a dance competitions between Ashraf and Evelyn (two of my classmates).
Ashraf is from Morocco and Evelyn from Gana and she’s one of my closest friends.
Our Italian teacher didn’t know that she has two very brilliant dancers in her class but she became more curious about them and decided to announce a dance challenge.
When they start dancing everyone having fun, most of the guys in the classroom were cheering for Evelyn because she was good and perfect with each and every move also because she started dancing when she was very little so maybe that was her plus point, but our teacher she was cheering for both of them. At the end Evelyn win the dance competition.
The duration of this challenge was almost half an hour and those 30 minutes were one of the best moments for the whole class.
The best part of this competition it was the participation, the desire and having fun the whole class with each other, that’s why I have chosen this song.

In the song the expressions “teach me”, “all I need”, “how you do dat” are connected to our daily life and to the fact that we often need to ask someone for help. It is a good thing to ask for help, butwe should never forget to believe in ourselves and in our skills.
If anyone thinks that we are not good at doing something it’s our duty to prove who we really are(“So I'm on my and I take it real low”).

Is a florentine steak (t-bone) better than a football match?

The Anonymous

It was Wednesday, there was something magic in the air. My two best friends and I decided to go to Florence to see the Champions League match, Fiorentina – Bayern München. Unfortunately the train was on delay (how weird!) so we missed the match. When we arrived in Florence (too late for the match!) we hadn't eaten yet. So we decided to go to a local tavern. The menu was very long but we saw immediately these three words “Rare Steak Florentine” and considering that we had missed Fiorentina's match we had to taste at least the dish to find little consolation.

And it was great, that's for sure! It was one of the most beautiful things that we have ever eaten. We know that you haven't lived this experience with us but we can share the recipe... symbolically!

Ingredients

• 2 large garlic cloves, halved;
• 3 T-bone steaks (each about 1 1/2 pounds, and 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inches thick) Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper;
• 1 lemon, halved;
• 2 teaspoons olive oil Grilled Vegetables

Grilled Vegetables

• 3 red bell peppers, seeded and halved;
• 3 yellow squashes (about 1 pound total), sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick rectangles;
• 3 zucchini (about 12 ounces total), sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick rectangles;
• 3 Japanese eggplant (12 ounces total), sliced lengthwise into 1/2-inch-thick rectangles;
• 12 cremini mushrooms;
• 1 bunch (1-pound) asparagus, trimmed;
• 12 green onions, roots cut off;
• 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons olive oil Salt and freshly ground black pepper;
• 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar;
• 2 garlic cloves, minced;
• 1 teaspoon chopped fresh Italian parsley leaves;
• 1 teaspoon chopped fresh basil leaves;
• 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary leaves.

Directions

Rub the garlic cloves over the meat and the bone of the steaks. Sprinkle the steaks with salt and pepper. Place in the refrigerator and allow seasoning to permeate the meat, for about 1 hour.

Remove from the refrigerator at least 20 minutes before grilling, allowing the meat to come to room temperature. Place a grill pan over high heat or prepare the barbecue (medium-high heat). Grill the steaks until cooked to desired doneness, turning once, about 5 minutes per side for rare, 7 minutes per side for medium-rare. The key to getting those great grill marks is to place the steak down and not move them. After you flip them, do not shift the steaks. Allow the steaks to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing, otherwise all the juices will be run all over your cutting board. Run your knife along the bone and carve the meat off the bone. Slice the meat into 1-inch slices. Transfer the slices to a platter. Squeeze the lemon over the steaks. Drizzle with the oil and serve immediately with Grilled Vegetables.

Vanishing childhood

Heidi lives in a village in Switzerland. When she is only a year old, her parents die and she is left with her aunt Dete. Dete moves to Frankfurt and she takes Heidi to live with her grandfather in the mountains, but he does not want her but has no choice. Heidi is a sweet-tempered child and Grandfather soon comes to love her. She makes friends with a boy called Peter and she loves going up the mountain with him and his goats. Grandfather takes Heidi to visit Peter’s grandmother. She is blind and regrets the fact that Peter can’t read to her from her old song book. She is also afraid because the house is old and it might fall down. Heidi goes to visit her every fine day, and her grandfather goes sometimes to repair the house. Two years pass and Dete returns to take Heidi to the house of a rich family in Frankfurt, whose twelve-year-old invalid daughter, Clara, needs company. Heidi makes friends with her and learns to read, but she is homesick. She writes a letter to Clara’s father, who comes quickly and he finds out Heidi walking in her sleep in her white nightdress. He sees the child is unhappy and decides to send her home. On her way up the mountain, Heidi visits Peter’s grandmother and she also teaches Peter to read. Then Clara visits Heidi and loves the mountain life and eventually she learns to walk.

Heidi is a cartoon that accompanied us in our days since we were kids. The little Heidi was loved by everyone and has made happy our childhood happier: it cheered our mornings before going to school. She taught us humility and generosity toward others and the value of friendship. We like to remember when Heidi, despite the negative events, could find a way to solve the situation and make everyone happy… all by herself, without any help. Thinking about the new generation, we realize that curiosity that aroused in us in waiting a new episode was greater, since we didn’t have all the technology that features the media now. 

So, we wonder, can today’s children really grasp the message that the author was willing to send us?
