If you look up in the dictionary you will find that a “lowlife” is a “bad person”, someone of low moral character.
The title of The Weeknd and Future’s song suggests a reference to the word’s meaning, and their lyrics details the activities they consider to be a part of a “lowlife:” drugs, alcohol, strippers, cheating, murder, and spending exorbitant amounts of money.
But this song can also be interpreted as a play, a disapproval and a protest on the term “high life,” generally understood as a luxurious lifestyle afforded to the rich and famous.

I think this song is very beautiful because it concerns about life and the words are interesting for those who understand this kind of music; moreover the soundtrack is relaxing and the videoclip is very well done.
